Mumbrella covers Liam’s tips on how to become a remarkable speaker

Man presenting on stage

Mumbrella 360 starts this week, with a bounty of panels, workshops and keynotes. Be sure to check out fellow Brit ex-pat Rob Mayhew, #FOMOSapiens session, for a more satirical take on the industry.

A memorable speaker can stay with you for decades, I remember seeing Sir Alex Ferguson speak about bravery, commitment to a single vision and 'man management' in leadership, just after he retired.

If any speakers are after some last minute tips, here are a few I've picked up over the years to remain a headliner in your audience's minds:

- Value storytelling
- Ideas can truly change the world (when delivered right)
- There is power...in a pause
- Leave the selling to the boardroom
- Body language can help to land the message

Here is the original Mumbrella article in full if you’d like to read more about it.

While it may have been written a while ago, this closing line feels more pertinent today, given the volume of content production outsourced to AI across LinkedIn and others:

"...Activate your mind, and bully your creativity into inspiring others."
